  26. That EPP par-port has performance in the range of 500KB-2MB per second.

  37. There is a new BIOS available for PC's that gives EIDE the possability
  38. of 8 attached HD's, 4 Diskdrives and a stunning top performance on HD's
  39. at 200MB/second. (I know, there isn't any drive that does that today.)
  40. So EIDE can be an alternative to SCSI pretty soon. For most low-end
  41. users (Walker is considered low-end) 4 HD's/CDROM's is enough. When
  42. they want to expand, they just get another slice for the Walker, get's
  43. a SCSI interface and off they go.

  50. The A4k/A1k2 HD-interface was a common IDE interface. Not EIDE. EIDE
  51. has better performance and can have 4 devices instead of 2. FYI..
